Years ago a favorite fabric store in my hometown always had a huge event on Super Bowl Sunday. It was great fun but most important: it was a wonderful excuse for the ladies to leave their gentlemen at home and get out of the house on this high holy football Sunday. Meet and learn from Dr. Pamela Benitez, Beaumont Hospital surgeon and specialist in breast cancer treatment and prevention, and Medical Director of the Shades of Pink Foundation.

Enjoy 3 terrific sewing project demos and an all-day sewing clinic. Work on current sewing projects with expert guidance from the staff or start something new. Use Haberman Fabrics’ sewing machines or bring your own. Enjoy light refreshments too!

Advance registration is preferred.  Admission is $25.00 in advance or $35.00 on Sunday, February 6.  One hundred percent of the admission donations support the important work of the Shades of Pink Foundation.

Shades of Pink Foundation provides temporary monetary assistance to breast cancer patients during their time of need. Many women face extra financial burdens during treatment and recovery with issues like insurance payments, food, transportation, childcare, and other essentials of daily life.
