How to Fit a Muslin

Threads magazine - 48 – Aug./Sept. 1993

No matter how you arrive at the final version of a fitting muslin, and no matter how you eventually plan to use it, the moment of truth is always the same: trying on the muslin and making the appropriate adjustments to fully customize it to a live body. Your two challenges are making sure that the seams and curves are positioned on the figure where you want them, and then adjusting the circumference of the shell to the degree of ease you want.
