Vogue Winter Patterns

1271

Find all your seasonal pattern needs with Vogue’s newest collection. Whether you’re making a chic holiday party dress or casual weekend wear this collection covers it all!

Dressy

Kay Unger introduces two fashionable dress styles. Pattern 1271 has a princess seamed bodice with interesting neckline darts sewn on the fabric right side. The skirt is fitted and the wide midriff has a skinny belt accent. The bias cut sleeves have horizontal pleats which finish the chic look. Pattern 1270 is an easy-to-sew dress with a designer look. This simple silhouette with cut-on cap sleeves and a fitted skirt, has unique waistline pleats and a chic two-piece pleated bow.

Pattern 1269 is the latest in the Chado Ralph Rucci pattern collection. This seemingly simple dress has lots of designer details. The fitted jacket is drafted to not meet at center front allowing the dress underneath to always be seen. The dress has a double layer of lining, side-front and side-back seams and no side seams.  The double layer flounces are finished with narrow hems.

Pattern 8766 is a complete dress collection. With simple bust and waistline darts the bodice variations include: sleeveless, three quarter, and long sleeves. Or select a princess seam bodice with or without straps. Mix and match these tops with various skirt options including fitted, fitted with a hemline flounce, and two A-line skirt lengths.

Casual

Sandra Betzina’s new top, pattern 1275, stands out with shirring or ruffles. This easy-to-make top has vertical seams and bust darts. View A has long sleeves with shirring along the sleeve hem to tie in with the bodice front panel.

Make a classic pair of jeans with pattern 8774. Choose a tapered or straight leg both with five pockets and a shaped waistband with a hook and eye closer.

Pattern 8777, by Kathryn Tilton, is an artistic vest. Easy-to-sew this loose-fitting, unlined vest has a drapey front, no side seams, and interesting seaming in the back. This is a great choice for a knit striped fabric.

The patterns look lovely. Would you please consider making the photos larger? It is hard to see the detail and that is the fun of looking at them. Same problem with photos of Project Runway and other posts. A zoom feature would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

ZudiBelle and I share the same request for larger images for better viewing of details and fuller appreciation of the design, construction, and realization.

    Thanks for listening.
