The Article that caught my attention from the preview, was a challenge. I liked the Hong Kong Fabric Shopping. But we can always learn from Teach Yourself to sew. I am still learning the jingle and which way to cut material. Thanks Timothy. tallen523@hotmail.com

I picked up the new Threads earlier this week and as always found plenty of articles to tab for use. Today I was at a St. Vincent de Paul store and was wandering around the book section and suddenly I saw a "Threads", actually there were 2. Dated Feb/Mar and Apr/May 1993, Issues 45 and 46. These issues included more wonderful articles for me to tab. The issues also had articles on Quilting, Knitting and Crochet. Today's discovery made my day.
Replicating vintage details. It goes beyond tailoring!
I like her advice to start with a project you will finish. I have been sewing for years, always self taught with books and DVD, I would love her book on beginning sewing.
I love sewing blouses and am always looking for new ways to make them interesting. I'm really looking forward to the vintage blouse article.
I look forward to the beginning to last page of every Threads, but I am very intrigued by the Hong Kong shopping trip as traveling and buying fabric are 2 of my favorite things.
I have many pairs of RTW garments that have a great fit, and would love to copy them for a pattern to make those at home. Why worry about measuring for alterations, if you have a fit and design one loves so the article I am looking forward to reading is
