Butterfly Queen

Top (cotton twill) corset inspired, is covered with small butterflies (raw silk) that were airbrushed and machine embroidered . Skirt is four huge butterfly wings with embroidered veins (raw silk), drapped over underskirt made of 20, 5 ft fairy wings (poly organza), hand dyed each detailed with embroidered veins. UnderTop is (powernet) decorated with strips of green lining with lace up back. All held up by a tutu and oval hoop.

This costume was a final for college, made by myself for myself but modeled by student.
