comments (1) November 5th, 2009 in sewing, design, reader's closetFive yards of a beige linen/cotton blend. Black piping in knife pleats throughout bodice. Entire dress draped selvedge to selvedge - no major pattern construction needed. The only curved cutting was for the armscye. Shoulder straps constructed separately also with knife pleats. Bodice boned with heavy-duty cable ties. Grommet closures.
Outfit completed with lace sheer overskirt, black underskirt, scarf and goggles.
