This outfit includes a fully boned set of stays, shift, petticote, mantua, cap and scarf.  It is not exactly authentic for the 1690's since I used a sewing machine, but it's pretty close. Rebecca Nurse was hanged as a witch in 1692 in Salem, MA and was my Great(13 times) Aunt.  I've always wondered what it felt like to wear stays - they're surprisingly comfortable, but a little warm.  Plus it's not easy to bend over - I don't think our grandmothers spent much time sitting down.  :)
