Sewing for my grandchildren is pure delight.
The pink princess costume is in satin and sparkle tulle with a top in a multi color sparkle.
The green woodland fairy costume is a take off from a pattern.  But I used a poinsettia and stripped the leaves to make top of the skirt over tulle, and a hat.

The pink princess costume is in satin and sparkle tulle with a top in a multi color sparkle.  I used a pattern, then embellished it and made the skirt into a puffy with tulle inside.  Sewing for my grandchildren is pure delight.

The green woodland fairy costume is a take off from a pattern.  But I used a poinsettia and stripped the leaves to make top of the skirt over tulle, and a hat.  I made the hat out of the green satin and hand stitched the leaves over it.  I found ribbon to match the sparkled top that had sequins on it and made the vee.  The skirt and wings
are tulle.  It was worth the time, to see my granddaughter in the costume.
