Shopping for fabric in many parts of the country can sometimes be a frustrating experience. With the closing of many fabric chains and independent stores across the country, many areas are left with little to no choices anymore.
That's where Vogue Fabrics comes in. Vogue Fabrics is a fabric store in Chicago, IL that also has a very extensive online retail store. They have created a program called Vogue Fabrics By Mail or the Coordinated Fashion Fabrics Swatch Club.
For the club, Vogue Fabrics creates color-coordinated collections with their new fabric arrivals. The color stories are swatched and stapled to paper for easy reference. They are then mailed to those in the program with a new collection every other month. Each page is color-matched with various weights, prints, and solids. The program will even send you color-coordinated threads and zippers when requested with your order.
This program is great for those who don't have a local fabric store, or for those who have a hard time color coordinating fabrics. The collections are also available to look at on the Vogue Fabrics website.
The program costs $30 per year and includes 6 collections throughout the year.
