Fancy Fabric Challenge

The Turquoise

I’m inspired by the shape of city building.  I chose turqouise taffeta as a main fabric.  Actually I don’t know what the name of the technique I used. Thanks to Ridwan’s Photography and Fatkhur Uphat.

    Love the architectural, columnar feel of this dress. As a general guide, how much fabric was needed to make a given length of the final pleated (?) fabric. Would a 2 or 3 to 1 ratio allow enough fabric to achieve that effect?
