Brocade N Tissue N Satin Birthday Gown for my Little Daughter

I made this gown for my darling daughter's 3rd Birthday.

Bodice is made of brocade fabric. Offshoulder pattern i had drafted for her fits her the best.

Skirt part has outer layer of Tissue fabric (metallic oranza), lined in Satin

The top most layer of cascading circle skirt is made of net material and is detachable.

Puffed up by innerskirt made out of can-can material to puff it up which has been lined in cotton so that what touches her skin doesn't irritate. It is separate.

Pattern or design used: My own design - Lakshmi

The pouffy -ness of the skirt is nice, I like how the hem is swirly and adds to the feeling of lightness, and the contrast of the texture of the bodice fabric adds interest along with the fitting. The off shoulder neckline is very nice, too. I'm sure she had a very memorable birthday!
