Online I went to e-bay looking for silk taffetta last year after hours of searching individual online stores. www.bangockthaisilk.com was amazing. I actually got my material from Thailand in less than 48 hours. I whish I had time to search all these other companies that are listed

Rosies sewnstuff was looking for pattern paper. I have had a great deal of luck with Sewable Swedish Tracing Paper 29" x 10 yards that I purchased from www.birchstreetclothing.com. Once I get my pattern adjusted I will trace the final version on this cloth/paper to use for future. Holds up well.

spandexworld.com - HUGE selection of all kinds of spandex. The go-to place for swimsuit fabric - not to mention athletic/sports wear and ice skating and dancing - and you can find all kinds for between $6 and $12/yard. Minimum yard cut and (I think) 3 yard minimum order (not sure about that second one). They tell you 2 way or 4 way stretch (very helpful) and also whether the fabric has sparkly stuff on it (in case you are making a swimsuit).

I have purchased many fabrics from them but they are not honest vendors and have cheated me more than once by not reimbursing me for fabrics sold out.
