This white and silver jacket was made to solve a last-minute wedding crisis.  The back is hand-painted Italian silk shantung, sleeves are damask with shantung cuffs, and the draped front is beaded, embroidered, lace.

The veil was made of the same lace as the jacket front.  Gorgeous jacket (photos can not do it justice).

I'm 99 percent sure that at one time the magazine THREADS had an article in it about making gloves with gussets in them made out of material. I think it was around christmas time that this article came out. Does anybody remember this and if so do they know what back issue this article is in????
