Oilcloth Apron

Here is an oilcloth apron I designed and made for my roommate Jasmine for Christmas!

This was my first time sewing with oilcloth and it went surprisingly well.

I free hand cut the turquoise/white polka dotted base and then used that to measures out the white trim that I added.

Next I used the base to measure the black oilcloth trim I added at the top.

The pockets were also free hand cut and edges were just folded in to attach them on.

Lastly I added the black/white polka dotted fabric for the back tie.

Overall I was very pleased, esp. since I never had any of here measurements!
