The Red Wool Coat
I made this coat for my 2 year old daughter. It is fully lined with red lining, just like an adult coat and has 2 pockets infront. I can't get her to wear the coat, so this one time I convinced her, and quickly took a picture. The pattern was drafted from scratch and I referred to an adult coat pattern I have on steps to sew a fully lined coat. It was fun, and that one time she wore it, she loved it. Thanks.

I wonder why I suppose they know at an early age what they like.
I have some red wool and was planning a coat just like this for the austrlian winter coming mmm now i will take her o a store and try one on first.
lovely coat see if you can get her to wear it again some ,if you have one a full length wear it together and go some where for a treat. Perhpas a little hand bag our grandaughter is only 18 months and she loves little bags she loves looking in the when we are driving, just put things in that we know she cannot swallow eg, little book hankies.
etc.

This is so adorable! I must say, that I enjoyed having clothes made by mom. My only complaint was that I couldn't have a new item each day! Wonderful job! Just keep sewing, keep sewing.
Take care.
Best Regards,
