This is one of my very first projects, I'm new to this, so I know it all takes time but, I'm very happy the way it turned out, just hope my friend and her baby both like it.

I used, red corduroy, kimono silk and cotton stripes with red satin for the back and boarders.

DeniceC DeniceC writes: I love the colors in your quilt. What a great start. I too am a 'newbie' quilter. Those fabrics must have been difficult to sew with...satin and silk are so slippery. The only fabric I've used so far is cotton.
