Claire's raincoat
comments (12) January 26th, 2010 in sewing, garment construction, reader's closetClaire's raincoat was made with a two sided, rubberized raincoat fabric. The stripe is actually the reverse side to the red, so there is no lining. I did use two layers for the collar and lapels, so that the edges would be finished -- managing the side that needed to show for each application. I used the double needle for perfect double rows of top stitching.
