Red Silk Vintage Styled dress
comments (1) February 15th, 2010 in sewing, fitting, reader's closetI made this dress to wear to a wedding. Some modifications were made to the pattern but they are not visible. I used French seams and I fully lined the dress in Bemberg Rayon. I had to adjust the neckline and armholes which gapped on the muslin that I made. Final adjustments were made on the pattern tissue before cutting the fashion fabric.
Pattern or design used: Butterick circa 1952 design
