Red Dress

Photo: Rachel StruncThis was a red dress project I had to do for class one year. I used an ombre polyester charmeuse as this skirt portion. The cream asymmetrical gathered piece and bust are silk dupioni. It is my own original design, and I used a combination of draping and flat patternwork to make the final pattern.
