Dressed for the Prom
I made this dress for my granddaughters prom. She requested a red dress with a tie back closure with lots of sparkle. This is what we came up with and she loved it. The dress is made of red creped back satin and red glitter organza. All the trim on the top of the dress is 1/2 inch wide braided silver sequins that I hand sewed onto the bodice, a total of 25 yards. I also added the swarovski crystals on the skirt. On the side of the skirt where the organza and satin meet I placed more of the braided sequins and topped off with a bow of satin. It was a fun project and she loves the dress.
