Jacket of blush silk dupioni is embellished with machine embroidery and machine quilting. The machine embroidery design is composed of several smaller designs that have been edited and manipulated in software to produce the large borders for the collar, cuffs and edges of the jacket. After completing the embroidery, the jacket has been background quilted by machine. The edges of the jacket have been finished with decorative machine stitches and pintucks. The co-ordinating skirt and corset top are made of black chantilly lace and chiffon, underlined with china silk, and embellished with velvet ribbon.

I used Request by Quilter's Dream. It is a very soft, thin batting that is suitable for wearables.
