I found this fabric at a flea market for $5. It still had the Newbury's (the old five and dime store) $.97/yard price tag on it.  I washed it and prayed that it didn't fall apart from dry rot!  The piping is made from the reverse side of the fabric.  Also the buttons on the lapel and collar where made separately and fused on.  There was too much bulk at the seam to get a nice buttonhole.  They are purely decorative, so they didn't need to work!
