All ready for Easter

Little girls love beautiful dresses and this became a favorite. Using a mint green stripe for a basic girls dress, I trimmed it in lace and pink piping. I made an underskirt out of white and embroidered carousel horses all around it. Then I pulled up the main dress and added bows so the horses would show. My grandaughter added the hats and gloves and wowed everyone on Easter Sudnay. I used a New Look pattern and improvised.

My daughter just loves all the dresses with pick up skirt on it, but I do not know how to do it, so could not make one for her. Now this idea of pulling the top layer of skirt is as much I get get near to what she loves the most, she should be very happy. Thank you so very much for sharing.
