And although I favour your magazine as the best of it's kind (the one's here in the UK have only just started to try to keep up now- a smaller market I suppose), it's very useful for me to see something, as I react better to visuals than to technical language which slips over my brain like a waterfall of virtual non understanding. So thanks.

Also, any chance of videos in the future with more couture/unusual stuff?

Unstaba hippie should make her own videos for her own class, because if there is one thing I have learned from all the advise I have from all my sewing friends, it is that every one has there own way of doing things, and you just need to learn which way works best for you.

ustabahippie ustabahippie writes: Good lesson for sewing a dart, as far as it went. I'd have liked to have seen the instructor using a pressing ham to finish the dart. And the pinning was done with the fold to the left on a few of the examples, while the sewing was done with the fold to the right. This can be confusing for beginners. I would also not teach beginners to lift the presser foot with the needle up when grabbing the thread end to use as a guide. I want to use this link to enhance my beginning sewing classes, but I don't want to have my students re-do the darts in class.

HeyLita HeyLita writes: Fleece is all the rage for winter wear so...how do you sew darts in fleece tops? They add a lot of bulk unless trimmed very close to the dart leg seams. Also, how do you mark the darts on heavier fleece?
