Budding Green Jacket
comments (2) April 12th, 2010 in sewing, design, garment construction, fabric, reader's closetThis fun jacket is made from 100% organic cotton fleece made in the USA. After sewing, I then garment dyed it chartreuse in my front loading washing machine. Red glass buttons are spaced uneven for button holes to give a sculptured look. I love wearing this jacket with jeans or a red knit dress.
A very very simple jacket, serged together and finished with a roll hem. Patch pockets are set at an angle to add geometic interest.
