Spring Is In The Air!
I wanted to make something fun yet a little dressy. These sailor shorts are made out of chinese silk brocade. I fell in love with the fabric, it's elegant and luxurious. The shorts are lined and have pockets, with a back zipper. The can be dressed up with a nice blouse or dressed down with a simple tank. They have darts and a pleat in the front and darts in the back. They are also cuffed. These are my favorite item for the spring. I hope you like them too. I modified Vogue Pattern 8604.
