This ensemble was created using silk organza that was hand dyed 'shibori style' for the blouse. The vest is 3 different types of hand dyed silk layered to make the 'feathers' attached to the garment. The pants are hand dyed silk dupioni lined with china silk. The hat is hand knit. The blouse and vest are my own design. The pants are Cutting Line Designs One Seam Pant pattern.

Spring Color Contest
Share your garments created in our spring color palette of chartreuse, peach, or light pink for the opportunity to win a $100 gift certificate from Kai Scissors.
Submit photos of your garments made with any combination of chartreuse, peach, or light pink to our contest gallery. Include a description of any techniques used to sew your garment.
Garments must be entered by 11:59 pm May 5th, 2010.
There is no limit to the number of projects you can enter.
Five finalists will be picked by Threads editors. A winner will be chosen in a vote by members of ThreadsMagazine.com.
Winner will be announced on or around May 15th.
