I wanted to make an exciting yet soft summer dress that would be great for a little outdoor BBQ.  The fabric and zipper was purchased from Fabric Mart (my favorite fabric store) - the fusible interfacing, hook-eye closure and thread were purchased from JoAnn Fabrics.  The pattern used was New Look 6848 - size 18. It has a wonderful shape.
