To create this simple but elegant outfit, I used Vogue pattern #8582 for the top – a Marcy Tilton design, and from Pamela’s Patterns, The Magic Pencil Skirt, for the bottom. Finding a fabric that had just the right weight and drape was key. I chose a medium weight knit in a silvery gray color. The sparkly silver thread is part of the weave and dresses up the overall look.
