Amber's Gown

This dress was created for my future step daughter in law... she had fallen for a lovely lace gown, but it wasn't quite right... so I went to work to make it all hers.  It is heavily beaded re-embroidered lace (thank you, Susan Khalje for Bridal Couture!) over silk satin and is mostly sewn by hand. Getting the back right took three muslins for the bodice, and was all the more complicated by distance: the bride lives in Michigan and I live in Chattanooga TN.
