Latest Purse (Hand Bag)
My latest Purse (Handbag?) Trying to mix it up with colors that match!
This side has 2 small pockets!
Photo: Simplicity "It's so easy" 2658My latest Handbag. It's the same pattern that I used on earlier one, however, I added pockets and tried hard to find prints that went well together. I also sewed some goldish strap accross the top front and back to add more contrast! This has a "Fall" look and feel to it and i think the prints and colors worked out well. I used "Heavey fuseable interfacing on both the bag and the Lining. I also sewed in a light piece of cardboard in the bottom "Between" liner and bag. Directions call for just putting some in after you are finished, however, it looks SO much better conceled. The only downfall with that is it makes it much harder to sew on the bottom!!! (It's tough enough without cardboard!!! I also embroidered my initials on a tag and sewed it in. So far I like this one the best!
