the painting was done with Chinese watercolor/ink and done on painting silk which feels like a cross between fabric and paper. then using the Gu style of embroidery famous during the Song dynasty, i partially embroidered the watercolor. it really added to the painting. hope everyone enjoys it.

i did the painting on silk using watercolors and then decided to embroider parts of the picture. the idea was taken from photos of france and my own creative ideas .
