Purse rush
I have always wanted to make my own purses, the problem was .. I like "Professional Looking" purses. (I don't have any expensive ones). After researching much i found a great book on making purses called Handle with Style.. by Indygo Junction, Inc. some of the combo of fabrics seemed cheesy to me. Not the kind of purse i would take to work. And that is what I was looking for… I decided to start with denim but was way too young looking for me, my niece appreciated it very much.
Then I made the leopard print one (laying flat this is what the pattern looks like exactly and the bottom is just a big long oval shape) with left over plush fur fabric from the carry all bag, then I moved on to pleather bought on sale at Joann my fave store ever I can be in there for hours and seems like a 10 minutes. I haven’t bought any real leather because it’s expensive and I’m sure has a lot of tricks I yet need to learn. The outside is black and very soft, the inside is silky shiny zebra print I sew the inside and outside by machine and the handles and joining the lining and outside together by hand stiches inside the black purse has no pockets, the leopard has one zipper on outside one side and two inside for cell phone and pens, etc. I made the "feet" out of studs from my beddazler kit and the last pic is the inside of another yet to come i'm waiting to cut and sew the white pleather will post pics when finished..
