Princess Toadstool Halloween Costume
This Halloween my boyfriend suggested that we go as Mario and Princess Toadstool from Nintendo. So being an overacheiver I had to do it up right. I began with a Vogue Men's Vest Pattern that I had used previously and tailored to fit my body. I used this to make the jacke and just manipulated the pattern to acheive the design of my sketch. The skirt was just a plain tiered ruffled skirt worn over a hoop skirt I made from wire and tubing I bought at Home Depot. We had a blast and looked GREAT doing it. So wonderful to see everyone's creations and hope you enjoy mine!
