costume contest
My 16 year old son wanted a Jedi costume that looked authentic.
He accompanied me to the store to pick the "perfect" fabric's that would complete the task. They had to feel right and look right. After researching pictures on the internet and watching Star Wars, I used an old Karate Gi, mine from years past, as a template to create the pattern complete with inner tunic, outer tunic, obi and tabbards.
He was thrilled with the finished product and received many compliments.
This was all done in two days!
