Luigie
Luigie's hat was my challenge here, but basically two circles of a faux suede with fun foam reinforcement on the interior made the shape correct. The bill was sewn around an insert of fun foam. Mcgwyre needed a little padding, so a tummy pillow with elastic straps gave him Luigie's figure. I used hook and loop fastner to attach the big yellow buttons and the gloves were a quick trace onto white cotten knit. Add a mustache and he and his nemisis Bowser made a great pair.
