This Lime green & black corset was based on a pattern that a friend drafted. As she has copyrighted it I asked her permission first! My client had a dress which she really liked, and she had been trying to find other garments in a similiar colour. I dyed the coutil using Dylon ‘Tropical Green’. It is always nerve wrecking waiting to see what colour comes out of the washing machine! Coutil takes dye beautifully. I used sheer black fabric in the panels so that you could get an unexpected flash of skin. There was more handsewing than normal in this corset. I found it easier to hand sew the sheer black panels into place rather than trying to use the sewing machine. Another corset wish I could wear myself!

Beautiful work! I would love to see the back, too.
Beautiful work, like the color combination.
Thanks for your positive comments. The corset actually looksbetter in real life. The colour is so vivid and the colour contrasts are beautiful and really compliment Neen's skin tone. I forgot to ask Neen to photgraph the back will post the back view asap.
