My 2 piece ensemble

This purple fabric is a cotton blend with a tweed like pattern for the skirt. The cream insert on the skirt is left over drapery fabric scraps that I had and wondered if it would look good together. The fabric scrap was the same weight and tweed like style as the apparel fabric so it worked out really well. The skirt is a low waist skirt that I designed with a high waist added and finished with buttons. Also has a scalloped bottom in the cream fabric

The shrug is made with a natural looking open mesh fabric and I trimmed it with the left over purple fabric of the skirt. Hope you like it!
