Embroidered Jean Vest

I used Kwik Sew #2895 to construct this vest out of a couple pair of my very old blue jeans.  I added tone on tone embroidery (4 colors) and hand sewn 2.5mm sequins for just a touch of bling.  Although not shown in a picture, I underlined the body of the vest with light weight blue bastiste to cover the undersides of the embroidery.  I believe garments should look just as nice inside as out.

Love projects like this! Any opportunity to reuse/remake a garment or two is wonderful. Even notions should be rescued and reused. Good job!

Great use of your embroidery machine. Classiest denim garment I've seen in a while.

Beautifully done! I love the embroidery design, placement, and thread colors. I think you need to find a contest to enter this piece...it's a winner!
