This jacket is a Chanel-style, based on Vogue 7975. Using Susan Khalje's techniques from "Inside a Chanel Jacket", I made several modifications to the pattern. You can read all about its construction On My Blog.

Robertasugar Robertasugar writes: It is stunning. The fit is definitely an improvement over the original pattern. Is the fabric very soft? If I remember Susan's article on the Chanel jacket, she recommends a very soft tweed. I have a beautiful silk tweed I would like to use but it is not soft. Do you think it would work?
