Oriental 'Refined' Creative Sweatshirt Jacket

Oriental cotton prints and silk dupioni embellish a sweatshirt for one great comfortable, stylish jacket.

My niche is creative sewing...and I often elect to do it on the base of a comfortable sweatshirt that 'fits' my casual lifestyle. I LOVE oriental fabrics and silks...so that is what you see combined here in this jacket. This is one of 6 jackets featured in my Refined Talking Pattern™ that approaches fit by 'seeing' the sweatshirt as just fabric. I started with a 2XL, cut it apart - and then started in! Motifs in the oriental fabric are attached to the sweatshirt base using monofilament thread and free motion stitching.
