McCall’s Palmer/Pletsch M5142 “The Perfect Jean”
If you ever have a chance to go to a jean fitting workshop by Ron Collins I would recommend it! Not only will you come out of the day with a great fitting pair of jeans, but you will learn how to tweek jean patterns to fit many differnt shapes of people. You may also fall in love with Ron - a great, down to earth, funny, endearing, AMAZING sewer! I have taken his cuffs and collars workshop too - WOW, so many smart techniques.
You're looking good!
Hey, I just bought a pattern and fabric to make some for myself and (gulp) hubby. Fortunately, he's easier to fit than I am.
You got guts, kid! They look alright!
Excellent job on the jeans.
JEAN Your Jeans look great.
I just took the Palmer/Pletsch jeans workshop in February (in Portland, OR.) It was fantastic. 17 women went home with jeans that fit. Yours look great. Pati (Palmer) would be proud!
I have always wanted to make my own jeans. Yours came out really great! Maybe I will bite the bullet and actually do it!
