I love the color of this dress. However, I would take off the shoulder piece and then I would reposition the "roses" on the front (3 only) to the top of the bodice between the breast or you could position them at the waist. When you look at this the eye doesn't flow smoothly. Have you ever worked out 1/4 size pattern pieces and make a muslin of your design before you used this fabric? The bottom of the blouse looks like you attempted to make a "flounce" shape but the fabric is too sturdy for this. You have a super dress here and with a little fine tuning it could be a GREAT DRESS. If I can help in anyway I would love to. I love desiging and this is a good start.

Thank you for being honest and diplomatic in your response. I thought I would tell you a little about myself. Although I have a 4 year college degree in sewing and designing,I LOST so much information from having chemotherapy for breast cancer. I didn't sew for many years and didn't understand why until I started not being able to remember how to do many other things, which included job performances of my "learned" duties. It took me 2 years to obtain my disability status and when I did I grieved about losing so much information. So I did what any daughter of my mother would do....I pulled up my boot straps and said...I'll just put it all back. So even though I can't remember many things..I just keep working on what I have always loved....sewing. I tried to download some of my work but they are too big a picture to download...I'll have to see if my sister can help me make them smaller? Thank you for your comments and I hope to see more of your work. What's next for you...?
