Easy No-Tie Bow Ties

A friend of mine started wearing bow ties to work, but (a) didn't know how to tie one, and (b) didn't own any.  So I made him some, using scrap material that I had from other projects, and used Vogue Pattern V8048.  This pattern for bow ties is very simple and doesn't require you to tie and untie it.  The pattern calls for a Vest Buckle, but in all honesty, that doesn't work very well.  So I changed it up a bit and bought a Dritz Parachute Buckle, which makes these bow ties much easier to put on and take off.  I think he will like these...
