The Button Dress
Inspired by a dress from Lilly my daughter brought the picture very early in spring. Using just what was in my stash I found some turqouise pique and a basic sheath pattern. Butterick 4998. I added the placket down the front and edged it with some jumbo yellow rick rack I found in my stuff. I then couldn't find any pink buttons so I went to the local fabric store and found these great big buttons. I thought they made a great statement on the front and was exactly what my daughter would love.
