How to Use Vintage Feet
From adding tiny pin tucks to creating heirloom lace, you’ll find many exciting ways to use vintage feet. There are dozens of types available, but this article by Charlene Phillips from Threads #149 focuses on the three most popular: the tucker, the edge stitcher, and the adjustable hemmer. Vintage feet are readily available online, and you might even have some of them hiding in your sewing cabinet waiting to be discovered. Be careful, though, because they’re addictive! Thanks so much for posting this article, I have two of the three vintage attachments described and had zero clue what they are or how to use them... now about the other 19 feet and attachments I received when I purchased this 60 year old machine....

Actually, I was just curious what the vintage foot being shown in the photo was, since I have other vintage feet, but not that one. I guess I'll have to look it up in my own copy of the magazine. Hope it's mentioned there!
Okay, I looked it up. In case anyone else wants to know, it is an "Adjustable Hemmer Foot".
Question: What era of machines are considered to be vintage? I have a Singer machine from the early to mid-1960's. Is that vintage or just old?
