Tambour Beading

Author Jan Bryant explains the basics of Tambour beading (beading on fabric with a pointed hook). Learn how to make a beading frame and stretch fabric onto it, and how to work a basic stitch, the chain stitch. You can practice beading and how to create knots for the beginning and end on a piece of polyester chiffon that is stretched onto a homemade frame. And when you're satisfied with your level of skill, you'll be ready to try your hand at creating a beaded garment.
