The Sewing & Stitchery Expo is Just One Month Away
Registration is open for the Sewing & Stitchery Expo in Puyallup, Washington, March 1-4! The expo offers more than 100 educational seminars and workshops for sewers and quilters of all skill levels taught by some of the brightest stars in the sewing world, including some Threads authors. The seminars are categorized as one-needle, two-needle, three-needle, and four-needle. More needles indicates more in-depth instruction, longer class periods, and hands-on technique experience.
The expo also hosts a showroom of 400-plus exhibitors and vendors, and there are several new exhibitors this year, including Juki America, Rowley Company, Martha Pullen, Gail Patrice, and Bobbie G's. There are several fashion shows and free demos throughout the expo's four days, as well as the Coats & Clark Charity Event, Quilter's Night Out, a fashion forecast by Pati Palmer and Marta Alto of Palmer/Pletsch, and a showcase of the semi-finalists in the Independent Pattern Company Association's Midnight Magic sewing challenge.
The expo is still one month away, but several of the classes are already sold out, so time is of the essence. Visit their website to purchase tickets to the expo and to register for classes online.
Will you be there? If you've attended the Sewing & Stitchery Expo in past years, how did you enjoy the experience?

I'm looking forward to the event, and talking to many vendors I work with in person. My only concern is how much money I'll end up spending ;-)
