Use a lightbulb for easy pressing
My mother used a most interesting pressing device: a lamp's incandescent lightbulb. It was not only hot but also convenient. She either removed the shade to expose the bare bulb or simply tilted the lamp shade to reach the bulb. By laying small sections of garments over the bulb and using her fingers, she could quickly press out wrinkles and creases.
