Recycle plastic trays from the supermarket

Foam trays make perfect notion organizers.

Wash and dry empty plastic foam food trays you get from the supermarket, then stack them for use in your sewing room. These free, perfectly-sized trays are good project containers for storing notions when you begin a new project. The trays can hold needles, plins, threads, buttons, and they’re portable for convenient hand sewing.

I think that this storage idea only works depending on what kind of food item was previously on that food tray. It has to be washed out properly before use for sure!
